POIMEN MINISTRIES

Along with pastoring Calvary Chapel Bishop, Pastor John and Laura serve with Poimen Ministries. Poimen (“Shepherd”) Ministries is a ministry to Senior Pastors and churches providing help for whatever needs they may have. The approach of Poimen Ministries is to connect experienced shepherds with pastors and churches for help and encouragement.

CC Bishop lost it's long-time pastor, Daniel McClenaghen in March of 2015. As a result, we know how helpful it is when the Lord brings experienced Shepherd's alongside in difficult times. Having experienced this ourselves, we have embraced the mission or reaching out and helping other churches through Pastor John and Laura.

PASTORAL TRAINING OF ASIA

Pastor Jim Davis and his wife, Shonda, are special friends of the ministry here at Calvary Chapel Bishop. He serves on the Boards of both CC Bishop and Living Proof Broadcasting.  He is also the Founder and International Director of Pastoral Training for Asia, a ministry dedicated to 'Ministering to Ministers', serving those who serve and helping those who help.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

A Samaritan’s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child sends gifts packed in shoeboxes along with a message of the gospel to children worldwide. Many local churches coordinate efforts to pack boxes, and Calvary Chapel Bishop acts as the main collection center for our immediate area.
